Some of us have issues with thinning or damaged, dry hair.  It’s one of the reasons I started making shampoos and skincare in the first place.  Initially all I wanted was something that made my scalp and hair happy.  I wanted the hair that I had when I was in high school.  I knew that the things I was doing to my hair was partially responsible for my thinning hair.  Things like coloring, heat styling, stress, products and especially commercial shampoos.  Sulfates!!! Silicones!  Harsh chemicals! Yikes!

The ricinoleic acid (also called omega-9 fatty acid) and omega-6 fatty acids in Jamaican black castor oil improve blood circulation to the scalp, thereby encouraging hair growth. The oil also nourishes the scalp and strengthens the hair roots, thereby treating thinning hair.

How To Use:
As Deep Conditioning and Scalp Treatment: 
Apply oil to fingertips and massage first to the scalp(This is good to do both for spreading the lotion but it's just good for blood circulation and hair growth in your scalp anyway.), then running through the hair from root to tip for a hair treatment. Can also apply just to hair ends for sealing split ends, moisturizing dry ends and lifting curls. Allow to sit, about 15-30 minutes, then wash and rinse
Leave In Conditioning: On damp hair rub 2-3 drops on your fingertips and rub it gently on your hair ends. 
As Heat Protectant: warm 3-4 drops on your fingertips and rub it on damp hair before blow-drying or ironing
As Anti-frizz Serum: rub 2-3 drops on your palms and run through the hair lightly. This will cause the frizz to settle immediately and also provide nourishment and an amazing aroma to your hair.
IN A RUSH? If you are like me and always pressed for time, it is still worth doing if you don't have 15-30 minutes. When you are in the shower, wet your hair a bit, massage the oil in, wash the rest of your body and then shampoo the oil out. 
 
As a Beard Oil:
Most men should apply beard oil twice a day, once in the morning before starting your day and once at night before bed. Pro Tip: Take a nice warm shower before bed and apply a bit more oil to your face and beard than you normally would in the morning. Let the beard oil work  overnight
